The origins of eXiZtenZ.net go back roughly 10 years. At that time, two highschool students had been playing around to many hours setting up a network based storage pool to kill spare time. The network at that time was formed by three computers and soon grew to our own personal network storage space to centrally manage our data, information, email and contact lists. At first using flat files the systems soon adapted combinations of different directory and database servers before it finally centralized around a divided Solaris / NetWare encrypted storage pool being managed by Novell eDirectory servers.

That same design still governs the eXiZtenZ.net network up to this day. With back-end encrypted storage servers are being accessed through an LDAP cluster behind secured front-end firewall servers. With the whole network growing beyond the need of our own personal storage and collaboration cluster, storage space was rented out and the cluster was opened up for others. Still being students the bill had to be paid somehow.

From that moment on the network was divided into two parts. One being our own personal test and storage network. The other in use for our customers offering hosted data and application servers. That being the start of Syndicate Consulting. A company offering secure data storage, game and application servers to our customers.
